about

Chien Pourri is an experimental synth pop duo from Toulouse, France (previously known as To The Moon and Back). Maud Cazaux (vocals, Mother-32 semi-modular synthesizer) and Iso Couderd (drum machine, FX pedals) started this project in 2019, influenced by artists such as Portishead or Nico. They build hypnotic and minimalist electronic pop, blending dreamy landscapes and dark atmospheres. Lyrics are based on cut-up works, dealing with pop culture and literature. Their debut LP 'Monstre Folle' is out on cassette, vinyl* and digital on Araki Records, Attila Tralala, Domination Queer Records, Gurdulu, Hidden Bay Records, La Loutre par les cornes and Tomaturj.
